"Innovation, Creativity, and Change"
"Innovation, Creativity, and Change" is a core compulsory course for first-year students in higher vocational education. It is a university course aimed at cultivating students' innovative thinking and practical ability. Through the course, students will understand the necessity and importance of innovation, grasp the process of technological revolution and industrial development, global issues that trigger innovation directions, and the seven layers of corporate pyramid management innovation. They will be inspired to develop their innovative consciousness and creativity, imagination, and be able to analyze innovation cases using basic knowledge and methods of innovation. They will also be able to track the trends of industry and enterprise innovation, generate or optimize ideas, enhance their innovative spirit and ability.
"Innovative Thinking and Development"
The "Innovative Thinking and Development" course is a core compulsory course for first-year students in higher vocational education. The course is based on the three innovative dimensions of scientific tools, divergent thinking, and human-centered design, and is taught around the four typical types of thinking: system thinking, divergent thinking, human-centered thinking, and engineering thinking. Through the course, students will understand and master the methods of system thinking and divergent thinking, stimulate their divergent thinking, creatively propose solutions to problems, master and apply human-centered thinking tools, cultivate students' "people-centered" design concept, guide students to discover and analyze problems with a scientific perspective, scientifically and systematically carry out innovation, and enhance their innovative spirit and ability.
"The Growth of Entrepreneurs"
"From Non-Business Plan to Business Plan"
"From Non-Business Plan to Business Plan" is a mandatory basic course for second-year students in higher vocational education. It completes the students' transition from basic preparation for entrepreneurship to systematic thinking about entrepreneurship. The course mainly cultivates students' entrepreneurial awareness, spirit, and ability. The teaching is centered around two themes related to non-business plans (personal plans, event plans) and business plans, including relevant information, knowledge, and the abilities required. Students learn to write non-business plans, mainly to cultivate their leadership and coordination abilities, time and goal management abilities. The study of the business plan module, on the other hand, enables students to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into practical and feasible business plans, cultivating their entrepreneurial awareness, spirit, and ability. Through the course, students can understand how to systematically plan and operate. The course helps students open their minds by studying and discussing both non-business plans and business plans. It guides students to plan for their future studies, work, and life better, and prepares them for future entrepreneurship or business expansion within organizations by building up their knowledge, mental readiness, and general business capabilities.
